Question 1

What types of events do you DJ?

Accepted Answer

Weddings, corporate parties, brand activations, clubs, festivals, farmers markets, parades — pretty much anything that needs music and energy. If you have a unique event in mind, just reach out.

Question 2

How far in advance should I reach out?

Accepted Answer

The earlier the better — popular dates (especially weekends in spring and summer) fill up months ahead. That said, we'll always check availability for last-minute requests.

Question 3

Do you provide your own equipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Full sound system, lighting and DJ gear are included in most packages. For larger venues we can scale up or coordinate with the venue's existing setup.

Question 4

Can I request specific songs or a do-not-play list?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Every set is custom-built around your vibe. You'll get a planning form to share must-plays, do-not-plays and special moments (first dance, intros, etc.).

Question 5

Do you take live requests at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes — within reason. We read the room and balance requests with what's keeping the dance floor moving.

Question 6

Do you travel for events?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We are based in Salem, Utah, and travel statewide. A flat Logistics and Transport Fee applies based on the event's distance from Salem; destination events beyond 95 miles receive a custom quote.

Question 7

Do you offer custom production or remixes?

Accepted Answer

Yes — custom intros, remixes, mashups and full releases for artists, brands and labels. Mention it when you reach out and we'll put together a quote.

Question 8

What's your pricing?

Accepted Answer

See the BrooksBeats FAQ page for full pricing details.

Question 9

Do you require a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A 50% deposit reserves your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event. Details are spelled out in the service agreement.
